Delmar Lee Duncan, Jr.
Delmar Lee Duncan Jr., 68, of Boonville, passed away at his home on Sunday evening, Jan 29, 2012.
Graveside services for Delmar will be held at Clarks Chapel Cemetery on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Arrangements under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.
Delmar Lee Duncan was born in Boonville, MO, Feb. 27, 1943, the son of Delmar Duncan and Estelle Gilmore. He graduated from Boonville High in 1961.Delmar worked in the oil fields for many years after he had served with the U. S. Army in Vietnam and honorably discharged in 1973. After his retirement he spent spare time fishing and working in his yard and hanging out with friends.
Delmar is survived by his fiancée, Debbie Elliott; by two daughters, Jenny Lawson-Choate, of Independence, MO and Hope Greene, from the state of Alabama. One grandchild, Jade Lawson and great-grandchild, Jordan Potter, both of Columbia, also survive.
