George Ruselowski



George Ruselowski, 56, passed away unexpectedly at Cooper County Memorial Hospital on Friday evening, Feb. 17, 2012.

Visitation for George will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel from noon until 1:00 o’clock on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 with funeral services at 1:00. Burial of the cremated remains will be at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery on Friday at 3:30 P.M.

George R. Ruselowski was born in Waterbury, Connecticut December 30, 1955, the son of Edward R. Ruselowski and Eloyse Basil Ruselowski. He married Lila Walters in 1978 and they are the parents of two children. They moved to Boonville in 1985 where George opened his restaurant. They had since divorced and George made a commitment to Renaldo Graves. George was an accomplished chef and was well known in Boonville. He was an advocate for the mentally challenged and worked with them at The Braun Home in Fayette until his death. For the past six years he was associated with Central Methodist State University and their program, for ‘Fresh Ideas Inc’, a specialty food service provider. He had also worked for the Department of Corrections for several years.

George was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers. He is survived by his partner, Renaldo, of the home, his ex-wife, Lila of Boonville, his son Anthony Ruselowski and his wife Candance, of Boonville, his daughter, Nicole Ruselowski, of Boonville, as well as his grandchildren; Gabriel, Athena and Justice Husereaux, Quinten Boles, Drake Glenn, and Trenton, Abigal and Brian Ruselowski, all of Boonville.
