Joan E. Bradshaw
Joan E. Bradshaw, 78, of Boonville, passed away at Lakeview Care Center on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
Visitation for Joan will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel from 5:30 until 7:30 o’clock on Friday evening with an Eastern Star Service at 7:00. Funeral services will be held at the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Boonville on Saturday morning at 11:00 o’clock with Pastor Judy Fiocco officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove cemetery.
Joan Edna Emma Bradshaw was born July 10th, 1933 in New Franklin, the daughter of Alfred F. Dusenberg and Irene Bertha Hein Dusenberg. Joan graduated from Boonville High School in 1951. She married Robert Bradshaw July 21, 1954; he preceded her in death just thirty days ago. Joan was a secretary/bookkeeper in the area for many years. She and her husband were devout members of United Church of Christ where she acted as church secretary for many years. She was an active member of the Eastern Star.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Bob, on Dec. 9th, 2011 and by her sister, Donna K. Broomfield. She is survived by her sons, R. Brent Bradshaw and wife Darlene, of Moberly, MO and Russell A. Bradshaw and wife Patty of Boonville. Her brother, Lyle Gene Dusenberg of Tulsa, OK also survives. Joan will be remembered by her grandchildren, Heather Derix (Chris) of Rolla, MO, Megan Bradshaw of Columbia and Malinda Duffin (Justin) and Maggie Bradshaw and fiancée, Tyler, of Boonville, as well as her great-grandson, Wyatt Duffin.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request that memorials be directed to the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Boonville.
