Ralph "Red" Robien
Ralph ‘Red’ Robien, 85, of Boonville, passed away at Ashley Manor Care Center on Wednesday morning, Feb. 15, 2012.
Visitation for Red will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Friday evening, Feb. 17th, from 5:00 until 7:00. Friends may call from noon until time of visitation. Funeral services will be held at Davis Chapel on Saturday, Feb. 18th at 9:00 A.M., with burial following at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Ralph Eugene Robien was born in Cooper County, MO, the son of John W. Robien and Anna Margaret Anderson Robien. Ralph farmed his whole life. He appreciated his neighbors and enjoyed gardening, especially raising the biggest tomatoes and blackberries in the county. Red was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Velma Mahoney Cook, a brother, Marvin Robien and his nephew, Raymond Mahoney.
Memorials are suggested to the family for the charity of their choice.
