Meet Our Staff
John M. Davis, Owner/Founder, has served at Davis Funeral Chapel since 2004. John was raised in Boonville, and opened the doors of Davis Funeral Chapel in 2004 to fill a need in his community for quality funeral services with the compassion of a trusted friend and neighbor.
Chris Howard, Funeral Director/Embalmer, has served at Davis since 2004. Chris grew up in nearby New Franklin, and has provided embalming services for the nearby community of Columbia for several years. Chris and John came together because they shared the dream of old-fashioned ideals in a modern funeral home.
Pat Davis, Owner/Founder/Designer, has served at Davis since 2004. Pat is the wife of John, and hails from Pilot Grove, just down the road from Boonville. Pat has been serving at Cooper County Hospital for many years, and has always employed the founding ideals of Dignity, Honesty, Respect, and Compassion to everyone she meets.
Our staff is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to serve your family during a very difficult time.
